Jean Hoffmann, ASID, CID, and Lead Interior Designer
Jean Hoffmann is the Principal Designer and President of Chester-Hoffmann & Associates, Inc., established in 1989.
As a certified interior designer, her design expertise is residential and professional interiors. Jean transforms spaces into interiors that blend function with beauty and sophistication. Her designs creatively balance architecture with all elements of design – space, color, light, and furnishings, creating interiors that function in practical life settings.
Jean’s work emulates her impeccable eye for designing spaces with the outstanding use of color, texture and proportion. Jean has significant experience in space planning and design; drafting; project management; color and design consultation; new construction and renovations, including bathrooms and kitchens. She has been specifying and supplying fine interior and exterior furnishings and textiles in traditional, transitional and contemporary settings for discerning clients over 40 years.
Jean designs extensively throughout Minnesota and the Midwest, but her work includes projects that take her all over the country. While Jean’s design focus is primarily residential, she has completed a variety of private professional projects including the design of reception areas, private offices, lobbies and common areas of condominium and commercial buildings.
Jean Hoffmann received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota. She is a professional member of ASID, American Society of Interior Designers. Jean is a certified Interior Designer, by the Minnesota State Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design.
